SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The
Import/Export Coordinator operates in a highly regulated environment and is
responsible for overseeing all operations related to customs in WGQ free trade
zone. The position calls for the direct interface with, Global Trade,
Procurement, Receiving, Project Management, Clients, Couriers, Brokers and Depots.

The
essential functions of this position include but are not limited to: Creating
and reviewing import and export documentation, coordinating/processing all
import/export operation, ensuring import/export regulatory compliance, auditing
documentation, participating in Global Trade functions.
SPECIFIC
DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESINCLUDE
BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Ensure all relevant Regulations, Standard
Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Customer protocol’s are being followed in
accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Distribution
Practices.

Review import documentation to ensure
compliance.

Assist in the creation of import documentation.

Communicate with customers with regards to
import and export activities.
-
Coordinates international depot shipment
activities in accordance with project requirements and available
resources. Notes potential issues and
takes action to prevent their occurrence when possible and escalate when
necessary.

Confirms all international import/export documentation
requirements prior to dispatch of shipments and verifies accurate
documentation.

Assist in preparing shipping documentation and
proper and working with regulatory compliance at site and corporate levels to
ensure accuracy.

Works collaboratively with peers across
Catalent network to develop and implement best practices.

Performs other duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
-
Education:Bachelor
degree or above in logistics//supply chain/trade or other relevant disciplines.

Experience:Better
to have relevant work experiences gained in WGQ free trade zone, experienced in
processing operation of bonded and Non-bonded warehouses and dealing with WGQ authorities such as customs, CIQ, SIDC, etc.
Knowledge/Skills:

Have a good command of English, familiar with
Windows office applications

Good communication skills.

environment.
