Responsible:
-
Responsible for supporting the Shanghai
site Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) programs and maintaining compliance
with regulatory guidelines and Catalent’ s Global EHS and programs, policies
and procedures.

Support site EHS manager to provide
technical review and oversight to employees, Safety Committee and management
group
-
Anticipate, recognize, evaluate and
control workplace safety and health hazards
-
Collect site safety concern and ensure
closing on time
-
Coordinate compliance activities such as
emergency action planning and fire drills
-
Provide technical oversight and review
during incident investigations
-
Make recommendations for improvement
actions into the EHS management system
-
Advances the EHS&S objectives and
achievement of results through the engagement of appropriate stakeholders throughout
the organization including the management and direction of the site safety committees.

Ensure all (EHS) training documentation is
maintained and it is readily retrievable for client audits and regulatory
agency inspections.

Ensure hazardous materials response is in
place to ensure proper handling of emergency situations involving hazardous
materials. Monitor the storage, use and shipment of hazardous materials
-
Participate in the Site Safety Committee
and support other departmental safety.

Participate in the EHS programs, forums
and internal/external audits.

Provide technical input for departmental
standard safety procedures to maintain consistency with regulations, internal
programs and polices between sites.

Provide support on training, coordination
and facilitation in Risk Assessment and Management of Change programs;
including Job Safety Analysis, equipment assessments, ergonomic assessment and
training
-
Provide on-site EHS support during
questionnaires, audits and follow-up.

Present safety training and awareness
programs for site

Review work practices and implement waste
handling, disposal and minimization programs as appropriate
